The movement keys come from Fandom’s Movement page, last edited April 11, 2026. Reload, bash and fire mode come from its weapon pages. The developers’ September 24 patch notes confirm M as the settings keybind. Miraheze’s Mechanics page, edited September 25, lists the same movement and combat keys, supplies the interact, mask, voice-line, radar and night-vision color keys, and says keys can be rebound in settings. It lists R only as reload.
How to reset when you’re stuck
Press R, or open the Roblox menu and choose Respawn. The reset only goes through after you stand still for 10 seconds, so find a quiet spot first.
- A reset is a death. You see the perished screen and come back at the Itagura NPP entrance. Miraheze says holding Space on that screen respawns you sooner, and Q and E cycle through spawn points, such as the Sector 3 checkpoint once it has been captured.
- It can end a challenge. Deaths are allowed on Underequipped, but in a one-life run such as Yuri’s simulation, or on VETERAN-OF-PURGATORY, resetting ends the attempt.
Sprint and stamina
Hold Tab to see your stamina bar. Sprinting, tactical sprinting and sliding all drain it; when it runs out you are exhausted and can’t do any of them until it recovers.
- SPRINT · SHIFT
- A full bar gives about 20 seconds of sprinting.
- TACTICAL SPRINT · DOUBLE-TAP SHIFT
- Faster still. It works at any stamina level and has no cooldown, but ends on its own after 5 seconds.
- SLIDE · X
- Only while sprinting, for a flat 10% stamina cost. Miraheze puts the cooldown at 10 seconds.
- RECOVERY
- About 25 seconds from empty to full normally. Fandom says it takes about 14 seconds when you’re exhausted, after a January 26 developer update sped that up. Miraheze gives about 23 seconds and says regeneration doubles while you’re exhausted.
Bash, backstab and kick
- Bash (G). Deals 50 damage and staggers the target, with a 5-second cooldown. You can bash while reloading, and each bash heals you a little: 5 HP, or 10 from a Shielder. It is how you break a Shielder’s guard.
- Backstab. Bash an enemy from behind for a knife strike that deals 1,000 damage (Miraheze: 1,050). Enemies that ignore a bash ignore a backstab too.
- Kick. After a bash, double-press G within two seconds to kick the enemy away. It has a 10-second cooldown and needs ONE-MAN-ARMY.
- Not every enemy can be bashed. Chimera clashes back and hurts you, and Gilbert and Mikhail don’t stagger from it. Miraheze adds SIN and Dave to that list.
Leaders and Commanders replace the bash with a bayonet that hits harder and can execute weakened infected.
Moves you unlock with ONE-MAN-ARMY
The official ONE-MAN-ARMY badge, for reaching the Sector 3 entrance solo in a private server, lists two unlocks: N night vision and X slide. Both community wikis list two more moves that need it:
- Kick after a bash, as above.
- Door bash. Tactical-sprint into a door to ram it open; it swings shut again a few seconds later.
Miraheze says a full goggle battery lasts two minutes and takes 15 seconds to recharge once it runs out. The wikis disagree on whether a classless player can use this night vision; Miraheze says classless players get goggles from LAB_ASSISTANT, from Yuri’s side task. See going classless.
Class tools
- LEADER & COMMANDER · PULSE NODE
- Left-click reveals nearby enemies; right-click shows where other players are.
- MEDIC & CORPSMAN · VIREL-M MEDUNIT
- Hold it out to see teammates’ health. Right-click a player to heal them; left-click to heal yourself. Miraheze calls the Corpsman’s stronger version the MedTac.
- ENFORCER · RIOT SHIELD
- Left-click bashes with the deployed shield. Right-click, a few seconds after deploying, fires a flash that stuns infected other than Chimera.
- ANY CLASS · LUM-5 GLOWCELL
- While holding it, R switches its color.
More on each kit in the classes guide.

Fandom’s weapon pages don’t agree on a console reload or fire-mode button, and no source we checked covers mobile controls, so we leave those out.
